Kaisa Sovero was born in Eura, in Western Finland. After graduating from Fredrika Wetterhoff school in Hämeenlinna, she worked as a graphic and textile artist. In 1980, Kaisa moved to Rhodes, Greece, where she continued her career as an artist and as a graphic designer, focusing on textile art. The motifs in her work reflected the childhood spent in Finland and her experiences of life in Greece.
Kaisa had her first exhibition in 1978, and since then her works have been on display in public and private spaces all over the world. Unicef and Amnesty have also used her art in a series of postcards. In summer her work can be seen at Sovero Art House in Eura. The works presented on the gallery page are on display througout the year.
In recent years Kaisa has worked with acrylic colours on canvas and wood. The wonders of Finnish and Greek nature are a central subject matter in these paintings.
